A Tasty Marinade!

Perfect for London Broil, chicken breast, or tofu!

Bridal Veil Marinade

2 c. Freshies Original Bloody Mary Mix
1 c. Freshies Fresh Lime Margarita Mix
¼ c. Red Wine Vinegar
¼ c. Soy Sauce
1 T. Fresh Ginger, minced
Mix ingredients in Tupperware container. Shake until completely blended. Aerate your food by poking with a fork. Place meat in Tupperware, shake for one minute, and marinate overnight. When ready, place on grill and sear lightly. Mix left-over liquid into half-boiled rice. Simmer until rice is tender or liquid is boiled off. Serve meat and rice together.

Wine & Food Pairings

Campfire Mediterranean Halibut in Foil

Turmeric Boiled Potatoes
1 large Idaho potato, diced ½ inch by ½ Inch
1 tsp Kosher salt
1 ½ quarts water
1 tbls Turmeric
1 sprig Thyme
Bring all ingredients to a boil,  excluding potatoes
Add potatoes and cook for about 11 minutes or till tender but not falling apart.
Strain and cool in refrigerator.
Place in Tupperware and transport in cooler to the campsite


2 Halibut steaks, seasoned with a little salt and pepper
Then add:
2 Roma tomatoes, medium dice
8 Kalamata olives, pitted and smashed on counter to flatten
8 Manzanilla olives, pitted and smashed on counter to flatten
3 sprigs of basil, cut into long, thin strips
½ cup clam juice
¼ cup white wine
Place in Tupperware and transport in cooler to the campsite


Make a pouch of 2 sheets of foil
Place a piece of parchment in the pouch
Lay Halibut down on parchment,  then elevate the 4 corners to seal
Add remaining ingredients and bundle the top.

At campsite, place medium rocks on fire and put foiled halibut on and cook for about 13 minutes,  until halibut is white and firm.
