Cleo Parker Robinson is founder, executive artistic director and choreographer of the 40-year-old Denver-based artistic institution, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance. She leads a professional dance Ensemble, Youth Ensemble, a School of Dance, an International Summer Dance Institute, a 300 seat theatre that bears her name, and a myriad of community outreach programs.

Educational outreach efforts are the cornerstone of our organization. The School offers a full curriculum of modern, jazz, ballet, tap, West African dance, hip-hop, salsa, capoeira, breakdance, and creative movement classes.

The Healing Power of Art program has served well over half a million K-12 students in school districts throughout the Front Range. This in-school initiative is part of an on-going effort to incorporate the arts into the established curriculum of the public schools.

Cleo Parker Robinson Dance employs both best practices in arts-in-education as well as dance instruction in a variety of genres to stimulate academic learning and educate our audiences and students, particularly our youth, through performance and workshops. We believe the magic of movement and creative expression will help to inform positive and healthy social development for a diverse world.
