Jazz89 KUVO is awarded Major Market Jazz Station of the Year by Jazz Week Magazine.
Dr. Daddio’s House Party begins broadcasting on Saturday evenings at 7pm.

September 9th, 2006 is officially named "KUVO Day" by Mayor John Hickenlooper.
Record audiences attend the 5 Points Jazz Celebration at the KUVO Studios, Blackberries, Cervantes, and the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library.
KUVO receives a $25,000 grant from MetLife for the "Caliente" program.
KUVO receives a $20,000 grant from the Denver Foundation for operating support.

2007
KUVO Denver Educational Broadcasting is approved by the FCC to build a tower and maintain a frequency in Vail, Colorado.
KUVO participates in the Capitol Hill United Neighbors People's Fair for the first time as an exhibitor -nearly 1000 people visit the KUVO booth.
