45th Annual Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition

The Rocky Mountain National Watermedia (RMNW) exhibition, in its 45th year, is presented by Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE) in Evergreen, Colorado. CAE is pleased to begin its second year of hosting this annual exhibition. RMNW attracts entrants and jurors from throughout the United States and is regarded as one of the top watermedia exhibitions in the country.

2018 Juror:  CAE is pleased to announce that internationally acclaimed painter, author, and teacher, Mary Ann Beckwith, will serve as the juror for the 45th annual Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition. Ms. Beckwith served as an instructor of Art at Michigan Technological University from 1973 until 2012.

During her tenure, she won the Distinguished Teaching Award and was inducted into the Academy of Teaching Excellence at MTU. She presently holds the title of Professor Emeritus. She is the author of Creative Watercolor: A Step-by-Step Guide and Showcase, and her work has been featured in many books and magazines, including a feature article in International Artist Magazine.

Mary Ann has been awarded signature membership in the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, the Watercolor Honor Society of Watercolor USA, the International Society of Experimental Artists, the Transparent Watercolor Society, and others. She has served as juror for many National and Regional societies and organizations: including the American Watercolor Society 150th Annual Exhibition; the National Watercolor Society; the International Society of Experimental Artists Society. She has judged State and regional Societies in California, Indiana, New Mexico, Florida, Hawaii, Wyoming, Louisiana, and many more.
