Vinyl Vault: All Star Session – Woody Herman

This week’s Vinyl Vault features Woody Herman in a rare small group setting. Leaving the Thundering Herds behind, Herman went into the studio with Nat Adderley, Charlie Byrd, Eddy Costa, Bill Betts, and Jimmy Campbell and recorded “All Star Session.” The album was released on Accord Records in 1982.
