THE MUSIC
We are pleased to announce the Delfeayo Marsalis & the Uptown Jazz Orchestra will headline. The Uptown Jazz Orchestra will present an evening of non-stop fun! Acclaimed trombonist, composer, and producer, Delfeayo Marsalis has dedicated his career to music theatre and education. In 2007, NEA Jazz Master and Grammy Award-winning Delfeayo Marsalis formed the Uptown Jazz Orchestra (UJO) to keep important jazz music, he realized that the New Orleans music community was lacking the infusion of young homegrown talent outside the great brass band tradition and chose to form an orchestra that could present traditional, classic, and modern composition, with authenticity. UJO has grown into one of the premier large ensembles in the world, releasing three CDs to critical acclaim, and touring locally, nationally, and internationally. This 15-piece orchestra will present an unforgettable evening of music.

What should I wear?
The attire is garden-party casual—comfortable shoes, cautious of heels.

What’s the timeline?
Be on time! When you first arrive, you’ll enjoy a wine tasting and a gourmet feast from over 15 restaurants until 7:45 pm. The music and the dancing starts right around the time the food sponsors close. The auction closes at 8:30 pm sharp. The night will conclude by 10:30 pm.

Can I buy tickets at the vineyard?
Please check kuvo.org to be sure that we are not sold out. If tickets are available, you can purchase them at the vineyard. Please be on-site early.

I’m sitting at a sponsor table; can I purchase additional tickets?
Yes, please email member@kuvo.org or call (303) 480-9272 to purchase additional tickets or click here. Your guest(s) can join you at your table.

How much will general admissions tickets cost after July 31?
On the morning of August 1, the general admission tickets will go up to $100 – get your tickets before July 31.

Where do I park?
There’s plenty of parking in two lots close to Balistreri. Traffic assistance is provided for your convenience. VIP ticket holders and Table Sponsors have backstage parking.

Can I bring beer or lawn chairs?
We will have seating for all our guests. No alcohol can be brought onto the premises.

What do the Auction and Everybody Wins entail?
We will have a silent auction for you to bid on stand-alone items, baskets, pottery, and art. In addition, get ready to win prizes when you purchase “corks” for $20 each. Corks are numbered and you’ll win the prize with the corresponding number, Everybody Wins!
