“When my CASA kiddo told his preschool teacher, “She’s my friend and she takes me places. I love her!” my heart was full. Being a CASA is an amazing opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child, and my kiddos make my life better too!”
In Adams & Broomfield Counties alone, there are approximately 1,600 children with an open abuse and neglect case. Last year, we were proud to serve 567 children. However, that leaves many children without a CASA Volunteer to advocate for them and amplify their voice in court.
As a CASA Volunteer, you can help fight for a child’s future and ensure they have a safe and permanent home where they can thrive. This Child Abuse Prevention Month, join our efforts to grow a better tomorrow for all children, together.
All our informational sessions and training classes have been transitioned to virtual settings, so becoming a CASA Volunteer is more accessible than ever. Join us for our next virtual CASA 101 informational session to learn about the CASA Volunteer role, application and training process, and how we are moving forward with advocacy during COVID-19.
If you or someone you know want to learn how you can make an impact in our community, please join us for the upcoming virtual CASA 101 on April 15th from 6:00-7:15 PM over Zoom. RSVP to Abbie at firstname.lastname@example.org or 720-277-9112.
