Armando Anthony Corea would have been 81 this week on June 12.
His legacy is enormous and he is a towering figure in the music.
Many of his compositions are Jazz standards such as Spain, La Fiesta, Windows, and 500 Miles High. His influence on pianists is massive and he’s one of the more important developers of the use of synthesizers in Jazz.
