This evening, from 5 to 7pm, Daniel Glass heads up a trio straight from BIRDLAND in New York City. The group will perform a stellar mix of originals, standards and a few unexpected surprises!

Led by award-winning, drummer, author and educator Daniel Glass, the trio also includes two of New York’s finest: Sean Harkness on guitar and Michael O’Brien on bass. These seasoned professionals are the real deal and perform in BIRDLAND’s house band Monday evenings in Manhattan.

Collectively, the band members have performed and recorded with an eclectic array of top tier artists, including Bette Midler, Liza Minnelli, Harry Connick Jr., Ruben Blades, Jason Marsalis, Pete Seeger, Lucy Arnaz and even KISS front man Gene Simmons.

The group displays an aggressive, high-energy approach that is characteristic of the New York style. That said, Daniel, Sean and Michael remain committed to concepts of melody and swing, and in maintaining an interactive connection with the audience.
