interview with Jennifer Landrum

One of Denver’s best kept secrets, the Denver Preschool Program is a jewel for early childhood education programs that do more then just baby-sit kids.

“If we give our kids the right start, if they have the early education they need, they’re going to enter kindergarden ready to learn,” Jennifer Landrum, CEO of the Denver Preschool Program said.  “They’re going to graduate high school, they’re not going to be involved in the criminal justice system, and they’re going to be ready to be participants in society.”
Landrum has spent 15 years working for local and statewide non-profits specializing in early childhood learning.
According to the program, research shows attendees of high-quality preschools fare better in their education and into their adulthood.  The Denver Preschool Program offers tuition credits to help ensure access to these kind of programs.
