A night of straight ahead and thoughtful modern jazz, curated by drummer/composer Dr. Michael D’Angelo.

Dr. Michael D’Angelo is a Grammy-nominated drummer, composer, and educator originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in jazz studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master of Music degree in jazz studies from Indiana University, and a Bachelor in Music degree in instrumental performance from the University of North Texas. Michael has performed with a wide array of artists in a variety of musical situations including Doc Severinsen, Dave Brubeck, Mary Wilson, Jamey Aebersold, James Carter, Stephen Riley, Ron Blake, Alan Pasqua, Bob Hurst, Ryan Saranich, Brandon Lee, Greg Gisbert, Annie Booth, the North Carolina Jazz Repertory Orchestra, and the North Carolina Symphony to name a few.

Michael is an endorsing artist for Pearl Drums, Vic Firth Drumsticks, and Evans Drumheads

 

Saturday Show Times:   Set One: 6:30-7:45pm   |   Set Two: 9:00-10:30pm

– Floor seats are only available for Dinner and a Show Reservations (Music is included with all “Dinner and a Show” reservations)

– For bar and walk-in guests, a music fee of $29 per guest applies to this show
