The Greg Wahl Quartet performs music from his debut album as a bandleader titled “Shared Sounds”, as well as a selection of other contemporary jazz standards. His album “Shared Sounds” is a tribute to the healing nature of the shared music making experience, and is a stylistic blend of contemporary jazz and American folk music. Featuring all original compositions, the music invites listeners in with warm sounds and flowing, lyrical melodies.

Greg Wahl is a Chicago-based saxophonist, who originally grew up in Boulder, Colorado. During his time in Colorado, Greg established himself as a bandleader and composer with his contemporary jazz quintet Wahl Street. In Chicago, Greg continues to perform and compose music, and appears in a number of jazz, latin soul, and funk fusion groups.
