The Annual Civil Rights Awards Gala is NEWSED’s signature fundraising and community recognition event. Each year, this prestigious gathering brings together leaders, advocates, and community members to honor individuals and organizations whose work has advanced civil rights, social justice, and equity.
Who is being honored:
Brianna Titone — Colorado State Representative, the state's first openly transgender legislator.
Maya Blasingame — Community organizer, LGBTQIA+ advocate, and Program Operations Manager at Denver Food Rescue.
Anaya Robinson — Senior Policy Strategist at the ACLU of Colorado and co-founder of the Transformative Freedom Fund
