Alex Loran: 'The Quest' Album Release

Alex Loran is a saxophonist and composer based in Denver. She recorded her first album, “The Quest” this year at Mighty Fine Productions. Featuring her unique voice and imaginative composition style, “The Quest” showcases 6 tunes performed by an octet of some of Denver’s most talented musicians. From straight-ahead swing to Afro-Cuban to straight 8th mixed meter, this collection of music tells the story of the Hero’s Journey in a brand new way.
