Join us for an evening of California cool as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Michael Franks' seminal album, The Art of Tea. We’ll take you on a journey through the velvety landscapes of Franks' music, exploring his unique blend of jazz and pop; tasty melodies; quirky, poetic, and profound lyrics; and themes of the subtleties of love as only Franks could tell them.
In this intimate setting, we'll share our own interpretation of Franks' beloved 1975 album The Art of Tea in its entirety, along with other cherished favorites from Franks’ illustrious career.
Amy Biondo is a Lafayette-based vocalist, songwriter, and vocal coach whose rich, emotional, and playful vocals are a perfect match for the effortless elegance of Michael Franks’ work.
