Help share more music in 2026 - make a year-end gift!
Broadcast Outage: We're investigating a broadcast transmission failure and are working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, you can listen online here or on the KUVO app.
For our Summit County Listeners: The KVJZ 91.7FM transmitter site on Bald Mountain experienced a catastrophic power line failure. Because of the high elevation and winter conditions, repairs won’t be possible until next summer. Stream KUVO JAZZ on our website, the app, or your smart speaker.
Dear City Park Jazz Friends,
For 40 years, Sunday evenings in City Park have meant something special. The sound of live jazz drifting across the lawn, neighbors spreading out blankets, kids discovering music for the first time — all of it free, all of it truly a "celebration of community."
This year, we need your help to make sure that tradition continues.
As many of you know, our beloved City Park Bandstand was lost to fire in March. That loss left us facing $30,000–$40,000 in unexpected costs for mobile setups, audio production, and power for this summer's concert series. The stage may look a little different in 2026 — but we refuse to let the music stop. Now, we're excited to invite you to a very special event where you'll be able to enjoy an exclusive experience, incredible food, and the unparalleled performance of one of Denver's most incredible Jazz artists.
Join us for a very special brunch!
Our friends at Dazzle — one of Denver's most iconic jazz venues and a true partner to this community — are hosting an exclusive City Park Jazz Fundraiser Brunch on Sunday, May 24, 2026, and YOU are invited!
Featuring the extraordinary pianist, vocalist, and composer Camilla Vaitaitis, this is a rare, intimate experience you won't want to miss. Two elegant seatings are available:
Your all-inclusive ticket covers a chef-curated buffet, made-to-order specialties, non-alcoholic beverages, tax, and tip — plus a direct donation to City Park Jazz.
As Andy Bercaw, President of the City Park Jazz Board, puts it: "Dazzle is a lynchpin in the Colorado Jazz scene. Most of the performers who play our stage have performed at Dazzle — it's not a competitive relationship, it's a supportive one. We're humbled and truly honored by their support."
This summer's lineup — including Hazel Miller, Conjunto Colores, The Spicy Pickles, The Delta Sonics, Shane Endsley & The Denver Municipal Band, and many more — is counting on your generosity.
