Denver South High School
The Denver South High School Jazz Combo performs a wide variety of jazz standards and charts from all eras and backgrounds of jazz. The combo is one of the most active performing ensembles at South High School and has performed throughout Denver and the surrounding area. In addition to their regular performances, they have participated in Jazz Festivals in Greeley, Denver, and Chicago.
In shows where most music is selected by students, the Denver South Raven Jazz Combo plays a wide variety of styles of jazz while bringing forth true artistry through their music and solos. The ensemble is open to any and all instruments. Seniors this year in the ensemble include Foster Hresko, Sam Grey, Leo Stone, Francesco Paglialonga, Kevin Maldonado, Carlos Aguilar, Thai Vu, and Cyrus Engle.
