Prototype is an electronica duo formed by multi-instrumentalists Sonya Walker and Mickey Lenny. Drawing influence from artists like Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds, Prototype fuses electronics with organic textures and instrumentation.

Pianist, vocalist, and producer Sonya Walker brings an ethereal touch to Prototype's compositions, heavily informed by her background in classical music, joined with Mickey’s command of sound design, digital production, EWI, and brass.

Together the duo explores a world where technology and artistry coexist in harmony. True to the group's name, their live performances are ambient experiments which feature real-time electronic improvisation and a sound that is both immersive and slightly avant-garde.
