FLATOUT JAZZ is BACK! ....
FLATOUT JAZZ returns reinvented as a tight jazz duo featuring Lou Gott on guitar and Casey Barnett on sax. Expect instrumental jazz that’s equal parts reverence and risk. We’ll play classics from Miles, Monk, and Mobley alongside crossover gems from Herbie Hancock, Grover Washington Jr., and Joe Zawinul. We’ll take these tunes down on creative journeys, sometimes inter-weaving simultaneous improvisation and interplay before we resolve back to the tune you know. It’s perfect music for listeners who follow every twist and turn, as well as those who simply prefer high-quality music as the backdrop to a great night out.
The show takes place at BAR-404 in Denver’s Baker neighborhood on Broadway (just north of I‑25). The venue pairs killer food and drink with a bangin’ sound system and an old‑school, laid-back atmosphere — ideal for FLATOUT’s new vibe.
