Thank you to those who supported KUVO JAZZ on Colorado Gives Day!
Due to high winds and fire danger, transmitters are operating at reduced power and reception may be affected through the weekend. Thank you for your understanding and support! You can listen online and on the KUVO app.
For our Summit County Listeners: The KVJZ 91.7FM transmitter site on Bald Mountain experienced a catastrophic power line failure. Because of the high elevation and winter conditions, repairs won’t be possible until next summer. Stream KUVO JAZZ on our website, the app, or your smart speaker.
We are thrilled to partner with Denver's Friends of Chamber Music for this very special one-time musical and culinary experience. The Danish String Quartet takes to the Nocturne stage with two extraordinary performances benefitting this local organization. This internationally acclaimed group brings their signature blend of passion, precision, and charisma to this unique and intimate Denver venue. The quartet will perform their trademark Nordic folk songs while you enjoy a seasonal four-course dinner crafted by Nocturne’s acclaimed culinary team. For the second seating only (8:15 PM), a Dessert and Drinks option will be offered, which includes the second performance and dessert, served with a glass of sparkling wine or a mocktail.
The Danish String Quartet is Frederik Øland and Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen: violin, Asbjørn Nørgaard: viola, and Fredrik Schøyen Sjölin: cello.
