Featuring the extraordinary talents of Jesse Manno, James Hoskins, and Beth Quist, this ensemble blends centuries-old musical traditions with modern sensibilities. ix invites listeners on a live immersive sonic journey that transcends genre and geography.

All three members are world class multi-instrumentalists and vocalists, drawing from deep wells of experience in Balkan, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and experimental Western forms. Their collective instrumentation includes oud, cello, gudulka, hammered dulcimer, saz, flutes, duduk, piano, electronics, and an array of global percussion—anchored by powerful, shape-shifting vocal work.
