Jazz Odyssey Presents: Same Sky & Kayla Marque

Jazz Odyssey Presents returns at Two Moons Music Hall for another journey through the roots and future of jazz. Each installment of the series pairs artists who honor the genre’s foundations with artists pushing its spirit into new territory, creating a night that feels both timeless and forward-thinking.

Opening the night is Same Sky, a Denver-based group blending jazz, folk, rock, and improvisation through original music written by Louisa and Tom Amend. Their sound combines thoughtful storytelling, rich instrumentation, and adventurous musicianship, showcased on their new album The Way I See You.

Closing the evening is Kayla Marque, one of Denver’s most innovative and genre-bending artists. Drawing from soul, funk, alternative pop, and electronic influences, Marque creates music that is emotional, fearless, and deeply original. Her latest album, Midheaven, continues her evolution with a playful, vibrant sound grounded in honesty and self-expression.
