This Friday Night features the Tom Weiser Quartet. Tom is a torch bearer of the immortal music of the golden age of jazz and the American Songbook and he has a fondness for jazzy adaptations of more contemporary music. His Quartet swings like a big band and is full of great fun, humor and If you like to swing dance, this is your show!
The band is Kyle Matsuda on keys, Cian Krueger on sax, Wyatt Wear on bass and BK Kahn on drums. Four young lions and one old dog. I'm really excited to be playing with this group, and am looking forward to exploring new territory with them. I've been working on some new compositions and some new reinterpretations of songbook classics.
