Julie Monley: Blame it on the Bossa Nova

The gentle and sensual mix of Brazilian samba and American jazz. Called the new wave music of the 1950s and 1960s. Bossa Nova is more of a musical feeling than a musical construct. A soft swing than any composition could be placed into and then redefined.
This evening will be reminiscent of Stan Getz / João Gilberto and Astrud Gilberto with Stanley Turrentine.
