This show carries a second weight: it’s Arturo Gómez’s last Dazzle night before he moves to Miami a few days later. Given Arturo’s history with this stage - his portrait hangs in the Pec Lounge and Dazzle hosted his retirement the night after KUVO did - it feels right that the goodbye happens here too. One more evening for the Denver jazz community to thank him for everything.
