The Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra presents “Latin Rhythms.” Experience the vibrant energy and passionate melodies of Latin music in this exciting concert, featuring guitar soloist Masakazu Ito performing Joaquín Rodrigo's iconic Concierto de Aranjuez. The orchestra will transport you to the heart of Spain with Rossini’s Barber of Seville, Ravel’s Bolero, and Manuel de Falla’s lively Three-Cornered Hat in a celebration of Latin rhythms and unforgettable music.

Masakazu Ito, Teaching Assistant Professor at the Colorado School of Mines since 2016, is the musical director and conductor of the Mines Philharmonic Orchestra. Renowned globally as a concert guitarist, he launched his solo career in Tokyo in 1987 and has won top prizes in seven major international competitions. His acclaimed recordings include ¡España! Music from Spain, praised by Classical Guitar magazine. Ito has performed at significant diplomatic events for the Japanese government and continues to tour internationally, most recently as a featured soloist at the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Festival in Spain

Jacinda M. Bouton has been the Principal Conductor and Music Director of the Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra since its premier in 2000. She is also the Music Director of the Denver Concert Band, has served as guest conductor of the Denver Municipal Band, and is an active conductor, clinician and adjudicator throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Jacinda feels fortunate to have conducted these ensembles in over thirty guest artist concerts with members of the Colorado Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and many other nationally and internationally renowned soloists.
