Mariachi Las Dahlias is Colorado’s premier all-female mariachi ensemble, celebrating Mexican heritage through powerful, heartfelt performances. Founded by Teresita Lozano, Valeria Carlos, and Roberta Maldonado, the group is dedicated to promoting female representation in the arts while honoring the rich traditions of mariachi music. In 2022, the ensemble embraced a more traditional mariachi format, refining its sound and deepening its cultural roots. Mariachi Las Dahlias has performed for Governor Jared Polis, appeared at the Crested Butte Music Festival and the Newman Center’s Musical Explorers concerts, and was featured on CPR’s Holiday Extravaganza.
