Milagros del Corazon Community Art Exhibition & Fundraiser

Milagros del Corazón, meaning "Miracles of the Heart," is the Chicano Humanities & Arts Council's (CHAC) annual fundraising art exhibition.​ 

This event draws its inspiration from the desire to empower individuals through creative expression. CHAC invites both its artist members and the general public to craft unique "art hearts," culminating in a diverse and inspiring collection created by a community of creatives. 

These one-of-a-kind pieces profoundly express each artist's individual perspective, fostering both personal expression and communal art-making. The crafted hearts are then donated back to CHAC, where they are auctioned to generate vital support for the organization's community + educational programs. 

This initiative directly contributes to CHAC's mission, which is deeply rooted in the belief that art serves as a powerful instrument for community building, cultural enrichment, and celebration.

This community event is not just a showcase of talent; it's a powerful catalyst for community empowerment, a spark for creativity across all ages, and a cultural celebration that will bring our community together. 

For over 46 years, CHAC has proudly served the Denver area, becoming a cornerstone in sustaining dynamic and community-driven Latine cultural arts programming. 

The 2026 Milagros del Corazón fundraiser will be our most ambitious yet, featuring over 500 uniquely decorated hearts from across the Denver Metro area. These one-of-a-kind art pieces, generously donated back to CHAC, will be featured in a free community art exhibition and silent auction, where everyone can bid on a heart.
