A poster for Pete Lewis Quintet 'Band of Brothers' event

Some of the greatest chapters in jazz history were written by brothers. Sunday, May 24th a special quintet gathers to pay tribute to the legendary musical bonds of: Cannonball and Nat Adderley, the Brecker Brothers, Bud and Richie Powell, the Montgomery Brothers, and the deeply swinging Jones family (Thad, Hank, and Elvin).

Featuring Paul Romaine on drums, Eric Gunnison on piano, Gabe Rupe on bass, Gabe Mervine on trumpet, and Pete Lewis on saxophone, this great evening of music should not be missed!

Saxophonist/Bandleader Pete Lewis has performed with the Joe Henderson Big Band, Natalie Cole, Tony Bennett, the Four Tops, the Temptations, Linda Ronstadt, Ben Folds Five, the Colorado Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and more. He established the Colorado Saxophone Quartet, performing classical and jazz compositions throughout the Western states. Pete has released two jazz CDs: Expeditions by the Lewis/Church Quintet and King of Hearts from his jazz-fusion ensemble, Polarity. Additionally, Pete and his partner Clare Church founded The Muse, a highly regarded non-profit performance space in Lafayette, Colorado that hosts local and touring live music.
