The Adam Bodine Quintet

Join us for this special one-off performance by Nocturne favorite Adam Bodine as he leads an all-star lineup of Denver talent: Gabriel Mervine (trumpet), Sam Williams (saxophone), Gonzalo Teppa (bass), and Dru Heller (drums). Bodine’s distinctive voice as a composer, performer, and bandleader has made him a one-of-a-kind figure in the Northern Colorado music scene. The band will perform Bodine’s original works, adaptations of lesser-known pieces by favorite composers, and some tried-and-true classics.

A diligent bandleader and creative arranger, Adam Bodine has refreshingly open sensibilities and an expressive authenticity that especially comes to life through his original instrumental music. A sought-after sideman as well, this remarkably versatile keyboardist is super active across a diverse range of scenes and communities. Adam’s natural musicality and joy of playing live are undeniable, which, paired with his eccentric sense of humor, always shines on stage and treats audiences to unique and memorable experiences. Especially throughout his home state of Colorado, the charismatic pianist has been elevating his craft and cultivating a substantial performance résumé, including scores of venerable venues, festivals, and renowned concert appearances.
