Thank you to those who supported KUVO JAZZ on Colorado Gives Day!
For our Summit County Listeners: The KVJZ 91.7FM transmitter site on Bald Mountain experienced a catastrophic power line failure. Because of the high elevation and winter conditions, repairs won’t be possible until next summer. Stream KUVO JAZZ on our website, the app, or your smart speaker.
Join us for this special one-time performance by one of Denver’s most dynamic creative voices: saxophonist Daryl Gott. Daryl’s inimitable style as a performer and composer is rooted in the deep tradition of American improvisatory music, with an artistic sensibility that showcases this music’s endless modernity. He will be joined by an all-star lineup of local musicians, playing original compositions and reimagined favorites.
Saxophonist and composer Daryl Gott was born and raised in Denver. Growing up in a musical family, Daryl was exposed to music, specifically jazz, at a young age. He graduated from Denver School of the Arts and continued his formal music education at the City College of New York, where he studied with saxophonist Jon Gordon. Daryl is established in Denver’s jazz scene as an in-demand sideman and a dynamic bandleader.
