Domi Edson is an emerging force as a jazz bassist and composer, originally from Seattle, who now resides in Denver. She has already made an impact as an artist, having played as a bandleader at jazz clubs across the US and Canada, as well as a live feature on KUVO 89.3 and a performance at the International Society of Bassists Conference. As a sidewoman, Domi has performed with Terrell Stafford, Jason Marsalis, Charles McPherson, Tia Fuller, Greg Gisbert, Dawn Clement, Gayelynn McKinney, Ben Markley, and many more.
Reminiscent of groups like the Ray Brown and Oscar Peterson Trios, the Domi Edson Trio performs a unique collection of new and reimagined music for trio and has two records to their name (Without the Re, Stories from Solitude). Domi is joined by her trio-mates Spencer Zweifel on piano and Bobby Wiens on drums.
