Join us for a two-week series by four of the preeminent voices in Colorado's creative music scene: the Matt Fuller Quartet. Led by guitarist and composer Matt Fuller, the band will be performing music from their most recent album release, for a night of thoughtful, affecting original music and well-loved standards.
As an artist, Matt Fuller seeks to create an experience that invites the listeners on a journey through the familiar and the unknown. His melodies are often intimate, and he finds joy in the moments of spontaneity and group interplay. The Matt Fuller Quartet seeks to create a unique vibe or world for each tune.
Considered “One of the finest guitarists in the area” by Jon Solomon of Westword Denver, Matt has toured nationally and internationally and performed with notables such as the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Ron Miles, Cuong Vu, and Billy Tolles. He holds a Master's in jazz performance from CU Boulder and is a former long-time student of celebrated veteran jazz guitarist/educator Dale Bruning. Matt lived in NYC as a freelancing guitarist and teacher from 2012 to 2015. He currently teaches Jazz and Guitar classes at Denver School of the Arts and runs a private music studio in Lafayette.
