Joe Smith & The Spicy Pickles is an 8 piece band based in Denver, Colorado. The band was originally formed to play for swing dancers, and has since opened up their influences to include funk, soul, and pop, focusing on creating grooves that move people. The band is influenced by Count Basie, Fats Waller, James Brown, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, T-Bone Walker, California Honeydrops, The Dip, and more.
