Broadcast Outage: We're investigating a broadcast transmission failure and are working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, you can listen online here or on the KUVO app.
For our Summit County Listeners: The KVJZ 91.7FM transmitter site on Bald Mountain experienced a catastrophic power line failure. Because of the high elevation and winter conditions, repairs won’t be possible until next summer. Stream KUVO JAZZ on our website, the app, or your smart speaker.
Join us on Friday, December 26th, to experience the deeply swinging and gritty sounds of the Taylor Clay Quintet. A longtime Nocturne favorite, tenor saxophonist Taylor Clay will be joined by Daryl Gott (saxophone), Tom Amend (piano), Eirik Haugbro (bass), and Zach Howarth (drums).
Taylor Clay was born in Brooklyn, NY, and began his musical journey at the age of 13 with his middle school jazz band. After high school, Taylor attended the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY. After completing his degree in Music performance in 2012, Taylor moved to Colorado to attend the University of Northern Colorado as a graduate student and teaching assistant. Taylor currently lives in Denver, Colorado, and works as a full-time freelance musician and private educator.
