Join us as we welcome back to the stage the Tenia Nelson Trio (TNT). These two special sets . directed by pianist and arranger Tenia Nelson will feature a number of classic R&B tunes re-imagined through the jazz and improvisatory lens.
TNT is Tenia Nelson - Piano, Brendan O'Donoghue - Bass, and Alex Tripp - Drums
Tenia Nelson is a Denver-based pianist, percussionist, and jazz educator. Tenia received her Bachelor's of Music Education Degree from Metro State University of Denver in 2004, and a Master's of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010. Tenia plays in a number of formats and styles and is a member of Spherio, which explores the music of Thelonious Sphere Monk.
