Zach Rich Quintet

Nocturne is pleased to welcome Zach Rich and his Quintet back to the stage for two special May performances featuring pianist Gavin Dunn, bassist Gabe Rupe, drummer Dru Heller, and saxophonists David Bernot (on 5/7), and Remy Le Boeuf (on 5/14), 

Zach Rich is a multi-award-winning composer, trombonist, and educator based in Denver, Colorado. Zach has written music for many professional ensembles and organizations, including the New York Youth Symphony, the Ravinia Steans Music Institute, the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra, and many others. Recently, he has worked with Billy Childs, Rufus Reid, Steve Wilson, Shane Endsley, John Clayton, and Wayne Bergeron. Zach continues to write for and perform with a variety of ensembles throughout the Front Range and Midwest areas. He will release his debut chamber album in 2023, funded in part by Pathways to Jazz.
