KUVO’s High School-Collegiate Series is back in action. Our guest on May 4 is the MSU–Denver Big Band, under the direction of Dawn Clement. This diverse group of student musicians from around Colorado performs a classic and modern repertoire and strives to honor the legacy left by Ron Miles.

This event will be broadcast from the Masterpiece Theater, with room for a limited audience of parents and supporters. The MSU–Denver Big Band is composed of 19 student musicians:
Rhythm section: Addy Himle – piano, Tim Shea – Guitar, Will Kuepper – Bass, Elijah Grace – drums, Luis Murillo – voice.
Saxes: Xander Peters, Iveth Molinas, Geoffrey Banninger, Colden Perkins, Angel Valdez.
Trombones: Johnny Torres, Elizabeth Bowman, Mateo Novoa.
Trumpets: Gavin Worland, Gavin Eshholz, Bright Ansah, Ellie Vogelsberg, Jeremy Kadis, Nicholas Hiserodt.
