Djamila Ricciardi

Djamila Ricciardi has a strong appreciation for her diverse cultural roots and a great love for all forms of creative expression. She grew up in Denver, studied Art History at Scripps College in Claremont, California and spent a semester abroad living in Florence, Italy. She has extensive management experience in cultural and arts-based organizations including the Denver Art Museum. Currently, Djamila is the Visitor and Volunteer Services Coordinator at RedLine Contemporary Art Center, a nonprofit that brings artists and communities together to create positive social change through art.

As a lifelong listener of jazz, former student at the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts, and former Jazz Director at radio station KSPC 88.7FM in Claremont, California, Djamila brings a genuine passion for jazz and a wealth of knowledge to KUVO 89.3 and the Community Advisory Board. She also enjoys being a substitute on-air host for the “Oasis in the City.”
