Beat Box Colorado Musician Murals
KUVO JAZZ and THE DROP are collaborating on an exciting new project funded by the Denver Arts and Venues "P.S.! You Are Here" (PSYAH) grant program, Beat Box is a community art project that aims to showcase Denver’s vibrant past and present music scene and elevate local artists through the creation of six utility box murals near the Buell Public Media Center.
La Molly joined The Morning Set “Behind the Mic” to share more on new art grants beautifying the electrical boxes around Rocky Mountain Public Media.
We will be recruiting six local muralists but first, we need your help! Vote for which Colorado musician you want to see depicted on the utility boxes!
Each mural will feature the portrait of a prominent historical or active Denver musician to raise public awareness about their artistic contributions and enhance community pride.
