Cinco de Mayo Recap

Indigo Jones
On-Air host for THE DROP 104.7
Cinco de Mayo 2026

KUVO JAZZ and THE DROP 104.7 had a wonderful time this past weekend at Denver's annual Cinco de Mayo Festival! Held right in the heart of Denver at Civic Center Park.

This year's celebration was packed with so much culture and positive energy from the community. There were beautiful Folklórico dance groups featuring dancers of all ages, genders, and sizes; talented, local Mexican artists killin’ it on stage; and races with really cute chihuahuas!

Also, what’s a Cinco de Mayo festival without getting some delicious eats? Of course, we had to partake in getting food from Denver's favorite Mexican-owned food businesses!

THE DROP & KUVO JAZZ Booths

However, one of the biggest highlights was connecting with our listeners, who stopped by our booths to share stories and kind words about the impact that KUVO and THE DROP have their everyday lives. It’s also not just people who enjoy our stations: animals are fans too!

Thank you to everyone who came by to say hello to our teams. It means everything to us. Check out more photos here.
