Community Connection: Dr. Lonnie Dunn - Denver Native & Musician

Dr. Lonnie Dunn, a Denver native and musician who went blind in 1988 is joining Tree King on Community Connection on Friday, February 7, 2025, during the 11 o'clock hour.

According to recent data, approximately 0.62% of the world's population is considered blind, which translates to around 49.1 million people globally. 

More than 100,000 people are blind in Colorado. January was Glaucoma Awareness Month, February is Low Vision Month and March is Save Your Vision Month. 

With today's technology and services for the blind, Dr. Dunn has learned to live as independently as possible.
