Community Connection: Effley Brooks III of Tiger Bee Consulting
Effley Brooks III is the President and owner of Tiger Bee Consulting, LLC, a company he established to expand his opportunities toward positive social change. Brooks is also an Associate Professor of Leadership Studies at the University of Denver.
We talked about how and why he started Tiger Bee Consulting. Including a few workshops he created, like the one with DPS (Denver Public Schools in Montbello), how it began as a program for African American boys, when they talked to the boys, they found out it would be good for all students. It was a major success!
Brooks also talked about a workshop he did last week with the COPA (Colorado Peoples Alliance), and how he co-created the African Leadership Group (ALG). He also explained EDIPT.
Effley shared about his work, life, and business.
