Community Connection: Professor Temple Grandin

Here at KUVO’s Community Connection, we’ve had some incredible guests during Autism Acceptance Month.

Our final guest on Thursday, April 24, is Dr. Temple Grandin. She is an agricultural icon, academic superstar, and autism advocate. Temple is a Professor at CSU, where she was named one of the Top 10 college professors in the country. She is a prominent author and speaker on both autism and animal behavior. Temple was awarded the Denver Business Journal’s 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award and one of USA Today’s Women of the Year.

Good morning, Temple. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to join us on KUVO’s Community Connection. A lot has happened since our first on-air visit for the premiere of your documentary, An Open Door, in January of 2024.

Tune in to Mid-morning Jazz with Tree King on weekdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
