Steve Chavis joined KUVO JAZZ in 2012 as morning news host and Public Affairs Manager, and spent five years alongside Carlos Lando as co-host of “First Take with Lando and Chavis.” He served for five years as program director

It only took a couple of decades for KUVO’s Live at the Vineyards to become one of the culinary events of the year. The team from Olive & Finch served food at LATV for the first time in 2025, and Chef Mary Nguyen’s Hanger Steak Tartine with Crispy Potato Cake won third place in the People’s Choice competition.

O&F’s Director of Experiences Nokkie Lipsey visited The Morning Set with her review of the event. We tasted her box of breakfast pastries and cold-pressed juices.
