Eats & Beats: Tessa Delicatessen doing it proper, 2nd location in Edgewater
When the crew at Tessa Deli push that paper-wrapped sandwich across the wooden counter, it’s like a super-tasty throwback to the spot you grew up with (or wished you grew up with).
Their original location at Colfax and Ivy is now joined by a Westside outpost in the Edgewater Public Market.
Owner (and drummer) Vince Howard brought the eats and the beats to The Morning Set for an on-air tasting of his Nutella eclairs, carrot cake, and a couple of glorious sandwiches (made with artisan bread, original spicy mustard, or old world mayo).
