Eats & Beats: Zane’s Italian Bistro in SE Denver
Zane Anderson was raised busing tables at his family’s chain of Broker Inn restaurants, so it’s just natural that he would eventually run his own venue. But he struggled before landing on Napoli fare.
“I bought a pizzeria and upped the menu to make it a nicer Italian place.”
Now fully developed, Zane’s Italian Bistro has been open for nine years, and since 2022, has been located on South Yosemite Street in southeast Denver.
They serve the basics – bruschetta, lasagna, various pastas and proteins, and a crowd-pleasing mussels appetizer with spicy red sauce. “Amazing,” he says.
When you go there, ask about their not-so-secret menu of back-of-house favorites. And for a nostalgic nod to the family legacy, you can order a mini-Broker Shrimp Bowl!
