Fuya Fuya, a versatile Ecuadorian artist born in the 90s, is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. Her music spans genres from Hip-Hop/R&B to Latin-American Folk. She moved to Colorado in 2019, where her music, driven by themes of self-discovery and empowerment, captivates audiences with its emotional depth and authenticity. Her live performances offer an immersive experience, blending nostalgic melodies with vibrant rhythms, evoking a range of emotions. Anticipation is high for her debut album, following singles like "Where Did U Go" and "Runnin". Her dynamic blend of influences and ability to craft resonant experiences highlight the impact of women and Latinx producers in Denver's music scene.
In this engagement, Fuya Fuya coos and grooves her way through 13 original songs in the one-hour set, mostly in English. She pours herself a cup of tea on stage, takes a sip, and then with fierce intent, pours out her heart on the embracing audience.
