MAS Presents: Doug MacLeod Interview with Geoff Anderson on All Blues
All Blues host Geoff Anderson recently had a chance to sit down with bluesman Doug MacLeod to discuss his new album, his upcoming show in Denver, and the state of the blues. MacLeod recently released his 29th album, Between Somewhere and Goodbye.
The Music Appreciation Society (MAS) is presenting MacLeod at The Savoy Denver on March 12.
Anderson and MacLeod chatted about the making of the album and what it’s like to record in Nashville. MacLeod also talked about his songwriting philosophy and how he came to tell stories about his life experiences and the advice and encouragement he received from older blues veterans. There was also discussion about what makes the blues the blues.
