On Stage Review: Back to the Future
The adventures of Marty McFly made for iconic 1980s film lore, and Back to the Future’s progression to the musical stage has become quite its own story. After premiering in London in 2020, the adaptation (including “The Power of Love” and “Johnny B. Goode”) worked its way to Broadway, and a national tour. The Denver production runs through February 9 at the Buell Theatre in the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The Morning Set’s Abi Clark (herself a “drama kid” in school) attended opening night and provided this audio review.
